Setting
Misool sits inside one of the richest reef systems on Earth -- Raja Ampat holds around 70% of the world's known coral species and over 1,400 fish species, with a single patch here the size of two football fields once found to hold six times the coral diversity of the entire Caribbean. The 300,000-acre patrolled Misool Marine Reserve has driven a 250-600% rise in fish biomass and 25x more sharks than outside its boundary, making it one of the few reef systems still gaining ground.
